Colden is a government affairs professional with extensive experience representing national and international trade associations, companies, and coalitions in Washington. At Cascade, he helps clients navigate the intersection of energy policy, regulation, and advocacy, with expertise in energy efficiency, hydrogen, distributed energy resources, and energy tax policy.

He has a proven record of delivering results, including by securing new pathways for emerging technologies to receive federal energy credits, shaping energy programs and regulation, and leading lobbying campaigns that resulted in the introduction and enactment of client-driven legislation.

Prior to joining Cascade, Colden spent five years representing industry organizations at a government affairs firm. He started his career in the press office of U.S. Representative Sanford Bishop (D-GA) and worked on political campaigns at the federal and local level.
