Performance Contracting
For over two decades, Cascade has led governmental affairs for the Federal Performance Contracting Coalition (FPCC), a coalition of energy services companies (ESCOs) that implement energy savings performance contracting (ESPC) projects in federal facilities. ESPCs are a financial mechanism to pay for infrastructure upgrades with future energy savings without tapping into an organization’s capital budget.
Transportation
We spearheaded a successful effort to create a Center of Excellence on New Mobility and Automated Vehicles through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This Center will collect, conduct, and fund research on the impacts of new mobility and highly automated vehicles on land use, urban design, transportation, real estate, equity, and municipal budgets.
Health Care Policy
Our team has partnered with several medical societies to successfully advance their federal legislative and regulatory interests pertaining to health care reform, funding to support field-specific workforce training, third-party payers, access to quality health care, and other priorities to address disparities in health status among Americans.
