For over twenty years, Erin has advocated for clean energy technologies and energy efficiency. Throughout her career, she has amassed a remarkable and comprehensive track record of advancing energy-related legislation, tax incentives, and increasing federal funding for critical energy-related programs. She is a recognized leader in coalition building and advocacy campaigns through her work with the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association, Energy Efficiency Strategy Group, Energy Efficiency Business Group, various tax extender groups, and more. Additionally, Erin is the President of the Fuel Cell Seminar and Energy Exposition Board of Directors. Erin also serves as the Vice President for Plug Affairs at Plug, a publicly traded fuel cell company.

Erin began her professional career working on Capitol Hill in the Office of Representative Jack Quinn (R-NY), managing the Congressman’s energy and environment portfolio, and developing a deep understanding of electricity generation markets, energy efficiency, and the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program. Her portfolio also included appropriations, tax, telecommunications, and advising the Congressman on any issues related to his seat on the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Those responsibilities allowed her to develop a close working relationship with agencies like the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
